Abra Ebner was born in Seattle where she still lives. Growing up in the city, as well as the mountains of the North Cascades at her family cabin, has granted her the experience of a life full of creativity and magic. Her craving for adventure has taken her into the many reaches of the forest, instilling in her the beauty of a world not our own, in a place where anything can happen and will. Her studies in Australia, as well as travels to England, Scotland, Germany, and Switzerland, have also played as a colorful backdrop to her characters, experiences and knowledge.
Believe in a place where eternal love, magic, beauty and adventure are just the beginning.
Obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree in Design from Washington State University. She studied Art History extensively, and uses a lot of that knowledge when considering her books.
She graduated with Honors, including one semester spent at the Queensland College of Art in Australia.
Personal Anecdotes:
What we don't often understand is the intensity of emotion we feel when we are a teenager. As we grow up, we tend to forget how immense everything once felt, how concentrated our lives are when seen through a window of only sixteen or seventeen years.
I remember when my friend died, and thinking that it was quite literally the worst moment of my life. How can we go on, and how, at such an age, are we expected to deal with that sort of pain?
...We do, though, and it's that which defines us.
I live to write about what it felt like back then, because no matter how deep the emotion we feel now, nothing holds a candle to the way it felt back then.
